The Great American Beer Festival
The Great American Beer Festival is an annual event held in Denver, Colorado. The festival features over 100 breweries and 2,000 beers to sample. There are also food vendors, live music and more! If you’re interested in trying new brews or learning about craft beer, this is a great chance to do so.

The Kentucky Derby
The Kentucky Derby is a celebrated event in American history, taking place annually on the first Saturday of May. In this race, thoroughbred horses run a distance of 1 mile and 4 furlongs (about 2 miles) around a track at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky. The winner receives $2 million in prize money!
The first official running of the Kentucky Derby occurred on May 17th 1875 with ten horses competing. Since then, it has become one of America’s most popular sporting events and has been featured on television since its inception as well as being broadcasted internationally since 2001 by NBC Sports Network (formerly Versus).
The jockeys that participate in this race come from all over America but mostly from within Florida where many horses are bred because their climate makes them ideal for training purposes; however some come from other states like California where there are no restrictions regarding how long you must live there prior to becoming eligible for competition licenses so long as your trainer has signed off on it beforehand which means anyone who wants one can get one regardless if they’ve ever lived anywhere near California before let alone competed professionally before either.”

Mardi Gras has been celebrated in New Orleans since 1703 and Mobile, Alabama since 1704. The festivities include parades, parties and costumes!
St. Patrick’s Day Parade in New York City
On March 17, New York City holds the biggest St. Patrick’s Day parade in the world. The tradition began in 1762 when Irish soldiers serving under General George Washington marched through Manhattan to celebrate their heritage and mark Ireland’s independence from Great Britain. Today, thousands of marchers line Fifth Avenue while bands play lively tunes and floats pass by carrying Irish dignitaries and politicians.
